Second Chance Cats

An American Mahjong collection inspired by rescue cats, new beginnings, and the journeys that lead them home.

Every cat deserves a second chance—and every Mahjong game can tell a story.

Designed by Opus Mahjong, Second Chance Cats is an artist-designed collection created to celebrate rescue cats and the joy of finding a place to call home.

A Story in Every Tile

Every illustration began as an original hand-painted artwork, with each element carrying its own meaning.

🐱 Cat Portraits — Colorful cat faces celebrate the unique personalities and individuality of rescue cats.

🧶 Yarn Balls — A symbol of comfort, safety, and the simple joy of play.

🐟 Fish — Representing care, trust, and the love that helps cats begin a new chapter.

🌿 Botanicals — Peaceful natural elements create a warm world where every cat has room to heal and grow.

Every Direction Can Lead Home

The four Winds represent the different journeys a rescue cat may take. Some paths may be long, unexpected, or difficult—but no matter where the journey begins, every direction can lead home.

Crafted in High-Quality Melamine

Made from high-quality melamine, the tiles offer a smooth, durable feel designed for regular Mahjong play. The classic weight and solid feel of melamine make the set comfortable to handle while giving it a refined, premium look.

Built for game nights, Mahjong classes, gatherings with friends, and everything in between, Second Chance Cats is made to be played, shared, and displayed.

More Than a Mahjong Set

With colorful artwork, meaningful details, and a story inspired by rescue cats, Second Chance Cats brings color, personality, and heart to the Mahjong table.

Because sometimes, finding home is the best part of the journey. 🐾
