Why we make these

OPUS Mahjong began in 2024 from a simple question:

What if a timeless game could be redesigned for the way people live today?

Born in Los Angeles, OPUS Mahjong was founded by a team of designers, makers, and creative professionals who share a passion for cultural products, storytelling, and 3D printing innovation.Like many great ideas, it started around a Mahjong table.We fell in love with Mahjong not only because of the strategy of the game, but because of the moments it creates — friends gathering after a long week, families sharing stories across generations, and strangers becoming friends around the same table.As designers, we saw something special: Mahjong had traveled across the world, but there was still an opportunity to bring more creativity, personality, and modern design into the experience.So we began creating.

Every OPUS Mahjong collection begins with inspiration.A place.A memory.A season.A feeling.Our designers transform these ideas into detailed 3D models, carefully refining every shape, texture, and color until each piece feels both beautiful and functional.With our background in design and advanced 3D printing technology, we are able to explore new possibilities — creating unique Mahjong sets and accessories that traditional manufacturing cannot easily achieve.Every detail matters:the way a tile feels in your hand,the harmony of colors on the table,and the emotion when players open the box for the first time.
